About Joris Dormans

Joris Dormans got an MA degree in Cultural Studies after finishing a thesis on the grammar of visual design. After his graduation he continued to expand his academic knowledge and shifted his attention to the study of games. Through this website he publishes his articles and reviews of books and games.

Joris works as a lecturer teaching courses on game design and development. He is doing a PhD on game design methodology and occasionaly works as a freelance game designer and consultant.
