When the Actions per Turn in the Diagram Settings is set to a value of 1 or more the diagram becomes turn based. A turn based diagram behaves slightly different from real-time diagrams. In a turn based diagram all automatic Elements fire once after the player has taken the set number of actions. Artificial Players fire a number of times as specified by their rate at the start of a turn. Quick runs do work on a turn-based diagram, each turn will last 10 seconds in normal time. Quick running a turn-based diagram only makes sense when you also program an Artficial Player to perform the player actions for you (note: quick running turn-based diagrams this is not yet correctly implemented).
Interactive Elements all have a cost in actions. These costs can be used to create free actions or to create actions that will cost more than one "action point" to perform.
